Rice CLIC Symposium on the Teaching and Testing of L2 Interactional Competence

HUMAN Research Centre Director Dr. Olcay Sert has been invited to the Symposium on the Teaching and Testing of L2 Interactional Competence to give a keynote speech entitled Active Listenership as an Indicator of L2 Interactional Competence: Insights from an “Oral Communication Skills” Course. The symposium, "hosted by Rice University’s Center for Languages & Intercultural Communication, aims to describe and assess ways to implement teaching and testing procedures informed and guided by the research on the construct of L2 interactional competence (primarily during the first two years of L2 instruction and learning)".
